Blackpool Report

We had a fantastic conference in Blackpool. I had some new experiences; I had my first Radio Interview, met Boris and saw the illuminations. I think that the most important thing I took away was that after our policy reviews we are now the only party who have a program for government which can make this country a better place to live in for us all.
George Osbourn’s speech abolishing Death Tax for all but millionaires and giving a Stamp Duty Exemption for all first time buyers buying a house for less the £250K was great.
I also loved the presentation on National Youth Volunteering. We need a program that can inspire every young adult in the UK. Every 16 year old must be inspired by this program and it will reach out to the most vulnerable in society. Ryan one of our CF members from Darwen spoke in the main hall. He was inspired by our message on youth.
The highlight for me was David Cameron’s speech in which he set out our program for government. We are focusing on making life better for every family in the UK. Its time for a change and for a new type of politics for all the people of Britain. The buss around was the Gordon Brown will go for an election in November. Come on Gordon let’s roll!!
